Hello World!

Hello World!

Hello, I’m Axel Rivera, an iOS developer and solopreneur based in Orlando, Florida. I’ve been building mobile apps since 2010, working with everyone from banks to startups before shifting to independent consulting to focus on solving real-world problems with clean design and reliable technology.

A few years ago, I picked up cycling as a way to stay active during the pandemic. That hobby quickly turned into a regular part of my routine, and with it came a new challenge: planning rides around Florida’s unpredictable weather. Between blazing summer heat, chilly winter mornings, and sudden afternoon downpours, I realized I needed better tools to figure out when and how it was safe to ride.

That is what led me to build Apollo Weather. It is designed for cyclists who want clear, detailed weather data that actually matters, like Feels Like temperature, wind direction, UV index, and more. My goal is simple: help riders spend less time stressing over forecasts and more time enjoying the ride.

Thank you for checking out Apollo Weather. I will be sharing more about the app, weather insights for cyclists, and updates here soon. Stay tuned!
